For my money, this place is money! It's reasonably priced. Everything tastes as I'd hope and expect it should. So far I've tried #13 which happens to be my favorite. The fried jalapeños were on point. The spicy tuna was on point. It also had tempura shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. BOMB! I also ordered #8 which is crab, tempura shrimp, topped with salmon, spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. I have a roll with this exact combo in San Jose and I just love it. They do it very well here too. For frame of reference, I've been to many spots out here in the entire Sacramento area. I've had very expensive sushi but I'd say none of them really hit home. The fancy places are great. But I feel like it's more pomp and circumstance in those places. This place is more of like a staple for me. A place I'd frequent very frequently. So satisfying. Will come back again and again and again!
Delicious little hole in the wall for sushi to go at the Safeway shopping center. We were immediately greeted upon entry and he was very patient with our questions. The sushi is not gourmet but tasty nonetheless. A huge step above grocery store sushi. The rolls are rice heavy and it's good proper sushi rice. They use krab meat not crab. I would say the amount of fresh fish in each roll is average. The fish tasted fresh (no off putting fishy smell.) We ordered the stuffed mushrooms ($5.50). It was tempura deep fried and stuffed with krab meat. Then we got the number 7 ($10) and 9 ($9) sushi rolls. Number 9 is baked. We really liked all of it. Other menu options include appetizers, teriyaki plates, and udon noodles. Affordable, made to order, customization options and fast service. What's not to like?
Delicious! Service is amazing, speed after ordering, packaging is nice. I also had miso soup but didn't take a picture. Food was nice and fresh. Definitely recommend for a Togo food place!!
When you have a sushi craving and don't want to sit down for it, this is a good choice. The rolls were yummy and we ate it all. We will definitely come back again.
We ordered Roll #3 (Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Avocado with spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce) & Roll #17 (Spicy Tuna, Eel, Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, Avocado, Masago with spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce) to go and liked it both. Service was fast.
Quick easy fresh I recommend the #9 roll and the bento sesame chicken.. yum when you don't wanna cook on a hot day
This is our local go to for sushi take out. Fairly priced and the food has never been bad.
Sushi and price was good. They are only doing carry out. I got both rolls for under $20. Will come back when I need my sushi fix.
New go-to takeout sushi spot!! I tried this place out expecting Safeway quality sushi but wow I was amazed at how fresh it was for the price point! I got a roll #6 for $10, and made my own roll for $7. Total $17 for 2 rolls, plus the rolls are actually big and filling, I didn't even finish them!!
Found this spot via Yelp friends and it did not disappoint. Rolls for $9, yes I said $9 ! Now most of the time inexpensive sushi is accompanied by improperly prepared sushi rice. RnG had perfectly prepared rice making their sushi tasty and affordable. There is currently no indoor dining available so be prepared to eat elsewhere. If RnG were in my neighborhood I would probably be here once a week lol. If your in the area give some live to this family owned small business.
